About Siduri

Belly dance is an dance style which has it's roots in ancient Egypt and is a living art form to this very day.

Siduri has been performing belly dance for over 10 years at events around Melbourne.  She has been taught by a highly esteemed Egyptian teacher at the Aida Academy of Dance. She is a genuine lover of Egyptian culture and heritage and all things belly dance.

The name "Siduri" comes from the Epic of Gilgamesh, written in ancient Sumer (now Iraq) thousands of years ago. The character of Siduri was a brave young woman, who wisely advised the king Gilgamesh to be kind to others and live a rich and full life - a life that included lots of dancing of course!

Siduri belly dancer will bring plenty of joy to your next event with her elegance and warmth.  Hens Parties a specialty!
